Epiphany Sports Schedule

Attention All Parents of Epiphany School:

All information concerning tryouts will be on our web site. We will list the days and times for all of the tryouts. We will also post on the web the names of the students who made the individual teams. This link is at the bottom of this page.

All of our tryouts will be closed to parents, friends, and family members. The only ones present for the tryouts will be the coaches and the children involved in the activities.

It must be understood that all students who try out for a team will not necessarily make the team. Parents are not permitted to attend tryouts. Administration/Athletic Director will normally not discuss tryout results with parents. It also must be understood that playing time is at the discretion of the coach. Attention all student-athletes and parents: All student-athletes must have their Archdiocese of Miami Athletic Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation form filled out by a doctor before they tryout for a sport every school year. Please make sure this is taken care of in the summer. The forms will be passed out to the students the last week of school. If you don't receive one you can print one on this page. Attention all coaches and volunteers: The Archdiocese of Miami has made it mandatory for all coaches and volunteers to be fingerprinted and attend the Virtus workshop. Parents whom are interested in coaching or coaches that have not gotten fingerprinted or attended the Virtus workshop need to have this on file. Fingerprints will be taken on Tuesday, September 20th, 2011 from 10am to 5:30pm in the Parish center and also on Wednesday, September 21st, 2011 from 3 to 7pm in the Parish Center. Please call 305-665-0037 to register. The Virtus workshop will be given on Monday, September 19th, 2011 in the Epiphany cafeteria from 7 to 10pm. To register please call 305-665-0037. Thank you.

Track and Field: Sign up for boys and girls from the 3rd through 8th grades will be held on Thursday, January 5th after school. Season starts February 4 and runs through March 17. Practices will be held on Tuesday and Thursday from 2:45 to 3:45 and meets will be held on Friday or Saturday.

Boys Varsity Soccer: 2nd Tryout for boys who made it will be held on Thursday, December 1st from 3 to 4 pm. Please check web to see if you made first cuts. Season starts January 11 and runs through February 22. Games will be played on Monday and Wednesday and practices will be held on Tuesday and Thursday.

Girls Varsity Soccer: Tryouts for girls in the 6th through 8th grades will be held on Tuesday, November 22 from 3 to 4:30 and on Monday, November 28th from 3 to 4pm. Season starts January 10 and runs through February 23. Games will be played on Tuesday and Thursday and practices will be held on Monday and Wednesday.

Boys Junior Varsity Baseball: Tryouts for boys in the 5th and 6th grades will be held on Thursday, December 1 from 3 to 4:30 on the field. Please come dressed in baseball attire. Season starts January 11 and runs through February 24. Games will be played Wednesday and Friday and practices will be held on Tuesday and Thursday.

Boys Primary Basketball: Tryouts for boys in the 3rd and 4th grades will be held on Monday, December 5 from 3 to 4:30 on the courts. Season starts January 10 and runs through February 16. Games will be played on Tuesday and Thursday and practices will be held on Monday and Wednesday.

Girls Junior Varsity Basketball: Tryouts for girls in the 5th and 6th grades will be held on Monday, December 12 from 3 to 4:30 on the courts. Season starts January 11 and runs through February 22. Games will be played on Monday and Wednesday and practices will be held on Tuesday and Thursday.

Girls Varsity Flag-football: Tryouts will be held on Wednesday, February 8 from 3 to 4:30 on the field. Season starts March 7 and runs through April 20. Games will be played on Wednesday and Fridays. Practices will be held on Tuesday and Thursday.

Boys Varsity Flag-football: Season starts March 1 and runs through April 19. Games are played Tuesday and Thursday and practices will be held on Wednesdays.

Girls Varsity Spring Volleyball: First practice will be held Monday, February 13 from the 3 to 4pm on the courts. Season starts March 7 and runs through April 18. Games are played on Monday and Wednesday and practices will be held on Tuesday and Saturday.

Boys and Girls Tennis: Season starts in March. More information will be forthcoming about date of tryouts.

Boys Varsity Baseball: Tryouts for boys in the 7th and 8th grades will be held on Monday, February 13 from 3 to 4:30. Season starts March 1 and runs through April 25. Games are on Monday and Wednesday and practices will be held on Tuesday and Thursday.

Girls Varsity Softball: Tryouts for girls in the 5th through 8th grades will be held on Wednesday, February 15 from 3 to 4:30. Season starts March 8 and runs through April 26. Games are on Tuesday and Thursday and practices will be held on Monday and Wednesday.
